Our client, an emerging FinTech company is looking to add a Software Developer experienced with .Net to their growing team!

Location: Montreal, QC
Position status: Full time permanent

Responsibilities include:
• Participate in the bi-weekly meeting to discuss and learn about: goals, objectives, descriptions and task requirements for future projects.
• Participate in the planning, organization and distribution of tasks with the team.
• Follow and apply the specifications received and coordinate with the team.
• Develop functionality and specifications by ensuring that quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver complete and functional solutions.
• Support other team members by sharing this knowledge.
• Participate in the definition, implementation and improvement of the product architecture.
• Help the team gain efficiency, self-manage and improve the quality of these products.
• Analyze specifications to determine need and know what to develop.
• Ensure the fluidity of work
• Present to the Product Owner for approval
• Participate in post mortem at the end of each completed project
• Carry out tests to ensure the quality and proper functioning of the task.
• Record and enter the actual hours of each task performed.
• Create a Release Package
• Ensure the back-up of his work with SVN
• Produce a sprint summary
• Software design


• University degree (computer science or software engineering) or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of C # (Microsoft) and SQL
• Excellent knowledge of Java - Java script, MSNQ, Soap UI
• Excellent knowledge of XML
• Knowledge of web services and SVN software
• Knowledge Agile Method
• Demonstrate an analytical mind and a great sense of detail.
• Be able to enter comments into codes.
• Have a good working structure.
• Ability to follow established standards.
• Good command of the Windows environment.
• Good communication of follow-ups, improvements and reporting
• Demonstrates leadership, good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
