SUMMARY : The holder of this position is in charge of the direct supervision of quality assurance activities. They ensure that the quality standards are met and that the storage and distributions specifications of each product are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafting, distribution, modification and archiving of the SOPs for all the company departments.
- Complete the training programs required in terms of SOPs for all types of positions in the company and make sure (by keeping a registry) that it is followed every day.
- Offer the initial and yearly training to all employee, in terms of SOPs and GMPs that are assigned to them
- Actively participate to internal and external audits (Health Canada and others) and ensure that corrective and preventive measures are implemented and followed.
- Suggest operational changes required to improve storage quality and product distribution. Ensure the implementation of these changes.
- Maintain good knowledge of the regulatory codes and norms, new developments in quality assurance as well as in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP).
- Participate in the creation of monthly and annual narcotic and precursors management reports (inventory, purchases and sales) for Health Canada
- Participate in the management of recalls (Quebec and Ontario), perform follow-up with clients and distributors
- Manage change evaluations, non-conformity, deviations and client complaint (identification, registration, investigation). Draft all associated reports.
- Complete the verification of storage and transport activities
- Review the COA and all other private brand documents.
- Prepare documents pertaining to regulatory affairs, licences, permits, DIN, NPN, etc
- Act, at need, as QPIC in the narcotic sector (reception, storage, expedition)
- Complete all other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:
- University diploma in scientific field – including pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, veterenarian, pharmacology, organic chemistry or chemical engineering, biochemistry, biology (with at least 3 courses in chemistry and pharmacology)
- Knowledge and experience in chemistry and pharmacology
- 2-5 years of work experience
- Knowledge of GLP principles, and laboratory experience (asset)
- Knowledge of GMP principles and different Health Canada norms
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Bilingual (verbal and written)
