Responsibilities:
• Keep track of operational activities and reports trends and activities to management.
• Implement training and learning activities to build a positive high-performance culture.
• Evaluate employees and assist the company’s improvement process.
• Identify, cultivate and promote company culture and communicate issues as required.
• Support business strategies and company objective through organizational change and initiative.
• Lead employee litigations and act as representative in legal proceedings.
• Creates any new HR policies when required.
• Manage any CNESST claims; Pay Equity programs etc.
• Network to increase visibility of our brand.
• Oversee the development of recruitment marketing and job postings.
• Recruitment and onboarding.
• Manage recruitment activities and all administration and recordkeeping related to employees.
• Determine staffing requirements.
• Recruit, interview and select staff that have the right technical and personal abilities.
• Draft contracts and other work-related documents.
• Discipline staff when necessary, using appropriate techniques.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
• HR Professional designation, a plus
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
• Bilingual in English and French both written and spoken
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Has worked in a small to medium sized organization
• Experience in employee relations, problem and conflict resolution.
• Proven ability with confidential information
• Superior organizational skills
• construction service/HVAC industry experience an asset
